KUA draws with St. Pauls

After ending the first half with a 2-0 lead KUA lets in two second half goals to finish with a disappointing draw.
After a stunning first half that saw KUA go 2-0 up, we were pressed back for almost the entire second half. Carlos scored the first. A ball over the top from Jake Wennik forced the goalkeeper to come out and clear. Only for his clearance to get to Carlos not far inside the opponent’s half. He took a touch and launched a lofted shot over the out of position keeper. Xavier continued his scoring run. A long ball over the top from Jeremy Sigl for Xiaver to run on to and finish. We went into the half time break with the 2-0 lead intact.

St Pauls came out strong in the second half and we were pinned back for the majority of the time. We defended resiliently and it took a soft penalty decision for St Pauls to get the breakthrough that they needed. With the score now at 2-1 and St Pauls in the ascendency we were pressed even harder. St Pauls had multiple corner kicks that eventually led to their equalizing goal. As the game came to a close there were a number of chances at either end but it stayed at 2-2.
