Wildcats win another one on the road!

After a tough start to KUAs travel, the Wildcats finally made it to Dexter-Southfield and with a quick warm up the girls were ready to play. Dexter-Southfield came out strong and made it a tough game for the Wildcats. It was a close match and both teams were pressuring but neither could finish. After earning a few corners KUA was able to finish with a hard shot coming from Kirsten Watson. Watsons goal was the only one for the half making it 1-0. In the second half the Wildcats finally got their flow of the game going and everyone contributed on a corner that resulted in a goal. It was a hard shot at the goalie who made a nice save and cleared the ball out but Lexi Bartlett kept the ball in the circle, Hastings was finally able to get a hold of it and send it into the net. Dexter-Southfield did not let up and had some great offensive opportunities but goalkeeper Seana Perkins made some big saves and earned the shut out. Molly Flanagan scored the last goal of the game making the final score 3-0. The Wildcats are now 5-0 on the season and will host Proctor Academy on Wednesday October 3rd at 1:30pm.
