Dublin defeats the Wildcats

The Wildcats fought hard against the Dublin School with a tough 2-1 loss on Saturday. While they were down players, the girls came out fired up with high energy. Early in the first half, on a corner kick from Junior Molly Beaupre, the Wildcats applied pressure to the Dublin defense, causing one of their defensemen to fumble the ball into the goal. As the Wildcats were up 1-0, soon after the Dublin school shot one in to tie it up. Going into the second half, the girls came back stronger. Freshman goalie Indigo Kopp had an amazing 8 saves in the second half, keeping the Wildcats on their feet with the help of KUA's defense. Though the Wildcats had some great plays, the Dublin forwards got one breakaway, sending a shot to bring them ahead 2-1. The Wildcats played strong until the end and are working even harder to take on High Mowing on Wednesday, September 26th.
