KUA wins first game!

The Kimball Union field hockey team travelled to Tilton School to play a netutral site game against Kents Hill. Kents Hill put up a good fight in the first half and was able to hold off the KUA offense, keeping it 0-0 at the half. KUA found their rhythm in the second half and came out strong, working together making great connections. Kirsten Watson (Scotland) scored the first goal for the wildcats and then went on to score 2 more goals and add an assist. Molly Flanagan (Lutz, FL) also played a great game, scoring 3 goals making it a 6-0 game. Amalie Ball (New Hope, PA) added 1 goal and 2 assist. Elene Landmann (Germany) scored the final goal for the wildcats making it 8-0. KUA defense played an amazing game keeping the ball out of the net and playing hard defending Kents Hill corners. Next KUA will travel to Proctor Academy on Wednesday September 19 for a 2:30pm game.
