Albert L. Cook

Albert Lloyd "Pete" Cook passed away on June 14, 2018 at Taylor Hospital in Ridley Park, Pa. ending his yearlong battle with cancer.

He was born on December 29, 1950 at Cooper Medical Center in Camden, New Jersey to the late John H. and Marylea (nee Davis) Cook. He is survived by his 3 brothers; Michael (Lewanne), John (Sally), and George R. Cook. He was the dear uncle of Jackie (Jason) Burke, Michael N., Anthony, and Alex Cook. He is the great uncle to Jason and John "Gus" Burke. Albert was known to his many friends and family members as "Pete". He is a graduate of Kimball Union Academy in Meridian, New Hampshire and he attended Bentley College in Waltham, Masschusetts.

He worked for many years in the rehabilitation office at Physical Therapy Physicians in Chester, Pennsylvania up until his retirement. Pete was intensely interested in sports and was renowned for his meticulous and detailed knowledge of all sports history and trivia. He was a source of obscure information to many of his friends.

Pete loved the Jersey shore and their beaches where he spent summers as a boy. He chose to live at the Jersey shore after his retirement for as long as he able to stay there. And so, in keeping with his wishes, his ashes will be scattered into the Atlantic Ocean. He was a dear friend to many and will be sadly missed.
