Wildcats Pull Through With the Overtime Win

A team win for sure. This one goes down in the books as the Wildcats finest game this season. It was back and forth for the entire 50 minutes of play - coming down to overtime and a sudden-victory goal by Mia Brown '18. Brown and Maddy Gesner '18 led the charge on offense with five goals each and Lexi Bartlett '21 rounding out the scoring.

It was in the midfield and both in the offensive and defensive transition where KUA's team play truly shined. Anda Brown '20, Kelsie Worth '18 and Coreen Carley '18 had numerous ground ball pickups that were critical in the defenseive zone. This gritty play lit a fire for the entire team and fueled the all out hustle demonstrated by Olive Scull '19, Hailey Fahey '19 and Kyra Russman '20

Bella Parento '20 took out Holderness' leading player by shutting her down in the second half. Taylor Coburn '19, in net, rounded out the game with an impressive sixteen saves!

The Wildcats are now placed third heading into the first round of playoff's, where they will face New Hampton School on Wednesday at 4:15pm.
