KUA Pushes Through the Storm for a 17-10 Win Over Cushing

The thunder storms didn't slow down the Wildcats this evening on their home turf, Pope. Coming out of the gates hard, KUA took the lead from the opening draw and maintained it throughout the entire game. After ten minutes of play, the storm came so both teams took shelter, but returned back to the field once it had passed. The brief interruption could have slowed the home team down, but they kept their foot on the gas until the final buzzer.

Player of the game went to Sophomore, Bella Parento '20, for stepping in cage with an impressive four clutch saves. Senior leadership came into play with Mia Brown '18, Maddy Gesner '18 and Kelsie Worth '18 all notching four goals each. Kyra Russman '20, Hailey Fahey '19, and Molly Davis '19 rounded out the scoring and the complete team offense.

Freshman, Lexi Bartlett '21, showcased her great field vision and threat behind the cage with two assists and poise with the ball. A great day for the Wildcats, rounding out their week of games. Next up, Deerfield Academy on Wednesday.
