Wildcats Come Out On Top at Proctor

Today was a great day for the Wildcats. They hit their stride within the first five minutes of the game and never let down. It was an all around team win for KUA, connecting well on defense, in their transition and on attack.

Senior Captain, Mia Brown '18, took charge both on the draw and on offense. Her athleticism and ability to find the back of the net took center stage. Brown notched an impressive six goals along with Maisie O'Shea '18 who was a sharp shooter and feeder, leading the team in assists in today's matchup and adding four goals. Kyra Russman '20, Hailey Fahey '19 and Molly Davis '19 rounded out the attack with one goal each, as well as teammate Maddy Gesner '18 tallying three scores.

Proctor showcased their speed and grit in the rain today, but KUA's Taylor Coburn '19 in net denied numerous point blank shots, setting her team up well for the victory.  Olive Scull '19 demonstrated her confidence with the ball, coming up big with mulitple caused turnovers and getting the ball safely into the attacking zone.

It will be round two for the Wildcats and Hornets, as they face off again this Wednesday.
