KUA Tops CMS In Home Opener

Though Muller tennis courts were boxed in by giant piles of snow, the KUA Boys' Varsity Tennis Team came out strong and swept the Cardigan Cougars 8-0. #1 Jon Scharfer won 6-2, 7-6. #2 Kelvin Zheng won 6-2, 6-3. #3 Avi Chalisani won in a tight third set tie-breaker, 6-7, 6-2, 12-10. #4 Sean Donohugh won 6-3 6-1. #5 Carlos Melgarejo did not drop a game, winning 6-0, 6-0. #6 Andy Lin won 6-3, 6-1. By the end of the singles, KUA had clinched the match. The two doubles teams that played, Jon and Sean, and Carlos and Andy won 8-5 and 8-1 respectively. KUA is excited to take on Tilton this Saturday here at home.
