KUA defeats Vermont
The KUA Wildcats had a strong showing this past Saturday as they defeated Vermont Academy only losing one match
On a cold and windy Saturday KUA headed down to Vermont Academy for their first match of the season. The wildcats were able to decide the overall match in singles play winning all six individual matches. Particularly strong play from Christina Ryan who cruised to a 6-0 6-0 victory. Also, Lily Braun had a strong showing as she was able to finish many of the points at the net and earn the win 6-3 6-2. As the match headed into doubles Alex Parsons and Sofia Garner got off to a slow start dropping the first two games, but ended up winning eight straight to win the proset. The wildcats head to Brewster this Wednesday for a late afternoon match and look forward to their home opener this Saturday.
