Fei Cup Brings Together KUA Community

Under sunny skies, 50 members of the KUA community gathered on February 12 for the 2023 Fei Cup and Harry Robinson ’74 Memorial Ski Day.
Students, faculty, alumni, parents, and friends enjoyed a day of skiing, racing, and reconnecting at Storrs Hill in nearby Lebanon. A GS-style course tested racers in a little friendly competition.

This year’s winners included:

Feichtinger Cup Winners: Hannah Sachs '97 and Brian Moses '09
KUA Student Race: Lucas ’23
KUA Community Member: Cristin Wickless
Honorable Mention: Madelyn Wickless
Under 16 Race Winner: Jackson Wickless

Georg Feichtinger H’02 P’89 ’96, the race’s namesake, was on hand for all the action, racing, and handing out awards. Feichtinger taught and coached at KUA for 32 years. He left a legacy of sportsmanship and dedication that remains in the hearts and minds of students and faculty. The Feichtinger Cup Ski Race honors his enduring commitment to KUA. In 2015, the ski race was expanded to honor Harry Robinson ’74 whose dedication as a volunteer helped grow the Feichtinger Ski Race.
