Wildcats Shut-out Rivers

Colby Boyce made 23 saves for the shutout and five different Wildcats found the scoresheet as KUA topped Rivers 5-0 at the Exeter Invitational Tournament on Saturday. In the first period, sophomores Corwith Simmers and Landon Paul scored their first KUA goals, which they sandwiched around a goal by Sam LeDrew, as the Wildcats took a 3-0 lead into the locker room. In the second, Tom Valentin-Lagarde’s shorthanded goal put the Wildcats up 4-0, and in the third Jackson Kyrkostas tallied on the powerplay to round out the scoring.
