Wildcats Top Hill on Hilltop

Senior captain Mike Sullo scored two goals while his classmate Dan Heroux made 25 saves to help lead KUA to a 5-2 win over Hill School on Tuesday in KUA's home opener. Sullo opened the scoring just six minutes into the game when he knocked home his own rebound. Kyle Murray-Smith and Malcolm Baar assisted on the play. Just two minutes later, fellow senior captain Jackson Kyrkostas collected a feed from Sam LeDrew before whistling a shot into the top corner to give the Wildcats a two-goal lead. Hill tied the game in the second period after KUA fell into penalty trouble, but LeDrew's first goal in a KUA uniform with just 13 seconds left in the second period gave the home team the momentum going into the third. Early in the third, Matej Svoboda found the back of the net to double KUA's lead, and Sullo's shorthanded goal with just over a minute to play put the game on ice.
