Walker Complete Game, Mack's 5 RBI Key Win Over St. Paul's

  • Despite seeing its four-run lead whittled down by the end, Kimball Union Academy Wildcats Varsity still held off St. Paul's for a 5-4 victory on Saturday. St. Paul's scored three runs in the failed comeback. 
  • Revy Mack led Kimball Union Academy Wildcats Varsity to victory by driving in five runs. 
  • In the first inning, Kimball Union got their offense started. Mack homered on a 2-1 count, scoring three runs.
  • Brendan Walker pitched the Wildcats to victory, surrendering four runs on two hits over seven innings, striking out 12.
  • Sullivan took the loss for St. Paul's. 
  • KUA racked up six hits in the game. Mack and Ray Thurston each collected multiple hits. Mack went 3-for-3 at the plate, including a three-run dinger in the first inning, to lead the Wildcats in hits. KUA didn't commit a single error in the field. Tyler Wenning had 11 chances in the field, the most on the team, and AJ Noel, Mack, Thomas Pichett, Will Stedina, and Thurston also made outs defensively.
