KUA Beats Brewster, Finishes Undefeated

In the final game of the Covid-shortened season, the Wildcats light the lamp nine times en route to a 9-6 win over Brewster on Friday in Meriden. Though Brewster scored the game's first goal, the Wildcats got first-period goals from Liam Walsh, Jaiden Moriello, and Grant Eastwood to take a 3-2 lead into the locker room. In the second period, the Wildcats exploded for five goals, with Moriello and Eastwood scoring their second goals of the game while Bobby May, Anthony Solt, and Will Blackburn also found the back of the net. In the third, three Brewster goals closed the gap but a late short-handed goal from Sean Donoghue provided more than enough insurance for the Wildcats. Goalies Tyler Wenning, Colby Boyce, and Charlie Schenkel each played one period for KUA. With the victory, the Wildcats finish their abbreviated game schedule with an undefeated 8-0 record.
