The Wildcats Beat the Bobcats in Close Game

The JV field hockey team has kept up their spirits throughout the season. With few games, many practices, and recent cold weather, the girls were excited to play in their final game at Brewster Academy. With Amelia Keith out with an injury, Sarah Krause stepped in net for us - she was incredible! She ended up only needing to make 1 save in the game, but she was crucial! Defensively, senior Nathaly Tlaseca Verde, Vlada Voznesenskaia, and Julia Chedel played strategically. They moved the ball to the wings as they blocked the Bobcats from entering the circle. Analena Connors, Sophie Coelho, and Lola Kuczynska played all over the field in the midfield. They redefended back to the circle and earned several offensive corners for the team. In the front line, Lea Castell, Paige Gamble, Sage Goodwin, Teegan Duffy and Katie Ayers, earned us the win! The girls supported each other and the ball up the field. Ayers scored the goal in the third quarter off of a pass from Goodwin!

Coach Mac and Coach Mellow had so much fun coaching this team this year. We are so proud of them!
