Wildcats Commit to College Play During National Signing Day

Kimball Union Academy celebrated 13 student-athletes Wednesday for their commitment to play NCAA Division I college sports as part of National Signing Day. These student-athletes, representing eight teams, officially committed to continue their academic and athletic careers at the collegiate level.
“National Signing Day is a celebration of commitment to a sport, a dream, and a community that stands behind each athlete,” said Becca Main, the George Akerstrom Chair of Athletics. “Behind every signature today is a story of early mornings, long practices, and a relentless belief in what’s possible. Our 13 Division I athletes have shown what it means to stay the course while growing through each challenge, leading with humility, and achieving through effort.”

As a member of the New England Preparatory School Athletic Council (NEPSAC) and the Lakes Region League, the Wildcats compete in 19 sports, with more than 70% of students earning at least one varsity letter each year. KUA’s commitment to excellence is reflected in the many graduates who continue their athletic careers at the collegiate and professional levels.

November 12 marked the first official National Signing Day for the 2025-2026 academic year, with an additional signing day for athletes committing to play at Division II and III institutions slated for April.
