Flick Gig: Spark Movement Collective

Spark Movement Collective, directed by choreographer Michelle Thompson Ulerich, will give two performances in Flickinger Auditorium: one beginning at 6:15 and one 7:15. Tickets or reservations are required. Email Kay McCabe, kmccabe@kua.org, for information.
Michelle is a choreographer, dancer, and teacher in New York. Of late, Michelle's choreography has been seen in Manhattan and Brooklyn. In 2017, she will present new works in New York; Austin, Texas; Napa, California; and Spartanburg, South Carolina. Michelle has been dancing with XAOC Contemporary Ballet since September 2015 and with Spark Movement Collectivesince February 2017. Prior to moving to New York, she was a professional ballerina with Ballet Austin for 14 years. She graduated from St. Edward's University in December 2010 having majored in Dance and The Humanities. Michelle has been a professor of ballet at SUNY Purchase since September 2016.
