Create, Dive Deep, Find Your Voice, Make Art
The Arts Scholar Program centers student learning through the creation and exploration of art. The point is to allow the student a unique path that will enrich their education, to give them the tools and creative voice to ask difficult questions and solve complex problems. Through coursework, special arts seminars, and independent study, the Arts Scholar Program develops curious learners who engage the world with their own fresh and original perspectives.

Whether in depth study of one discipline or a broad exposure to the arts, students seek meaning and purpose in an ever-changing environment. Students who successfully complete the program, graduate with distinction and receive a special certificate alongside their diploma.

A KUA Arts Scholar will:

  • Complete two-year commitment beginning your junior year
  • Communicate through the creative process
  • Reflect upon one’s place in the world
  • Explore a myriad of traditions, values, and cultural perspectives
  • Act and motivate others to follow
  • Treasure the diversity of the world’s cultural heritage
  • Experience joy in the making of art
