Kimball Union's library serves the school community's curricular, research, and recreational needs. The collection comprises some 14,000 volumes in print and thousands of items in other formats, including videos and sound recordings. Many resources are accessible through a dozen scholarly databases available on and off campus to KUA students and faculty. In addition, the library has computers, printers, and a copier for use by students and faculty.

Reference and Instruction

The librarians are available on school days to assist with the use of materials located in the library, as well with as with online resources. KUA students, faculty, and staff may email questions about research or the library's resources anytime to librarian@kua.org.

Teachers are encouraged to schedule a session in the library for their classes. A librarian will help students to formulate research questions, construct effective online searches, and locate relevant materials. With advance notice, classes are welcome to use the library as space permits.
