Day Students Excused From Holiday Meal

Due to falling temperatures and potentially dangerous driving conditions, day students are excused from tonight’s Holiday Dinner. They are still encouraged and welcome to attend, though we understand that it might make more sense to depart campus earlier rather than later.

Interim Head of School

Pamela Clarke
Hello! I am fairly new to Kimball Union Academy, which I chose because the adults are amazingly tuned in to the academic and developmental needs of adolescents. Here, the faculty practices an experiential approach to learning; students are asked to engage in their studies and to find and follow their passions. We agree that it is better to ask a good question than answer one, that curiosity leads to research and experimentation, that we all learn best in a comfortable and safe relationship with our teachers and peers, that fear compromises learning, and that respect governs all relationships.

Rather than hear about what I have found at KUA, please come see for yourselves what a fine, healthy, and happy group of learners, young people and adults alike, is gathered here on The Hilltop.

To change the world our children will need resilience, integrity, imagination and the ability to care for all others.  We must teach them NOT to discriminate on the basis of color, of religion, of gender and of immigration status.
