Cats take sting from Hornets...again.

Thomas S Lord
The KUA Girls' JV hoopers took down Proctor for the third time this season behind a 24 point offensive display bu Kate Mackey '20 and a swarming defense led by fellow seniors Haley McNamara and Nikki Boboc-Petrescu. The 'Cats never let the Hornets relax on both ends of the floor, and when Lyndsey Patten started to drain her signature three's, KUA put the game on ice. Junior Kate Strauss, new to basketball this year, continued to grow as a confident player, showing tenacity and poise on the boards, and Vanessa Mateko '20 was also a force on the defensive glass, pulling down double digit rebounds. KUA travels to Tilton next Friday after a well deserved Long Weekend break.
