The Wildcats played an outstanding game against Kuper Academy from Montreal. It was a fast-paced physical game from the opening face off with great scoring opportunities and strong goaltending at both ends. Sam Herrmann scored for KUA in the first period after a scramble in front of the Kuper net. The visitors scored early in the third period, and the game ended knotted at one. Each and every one of the KUA players picked up their game against this strong opponent and the result was an impressive performance. Sam Herrmann, Charles Baldwin and Patrick Callahan each had great opportunities to score, but Patrick Salkind made some outstanding saves in the KUA net to keep Kuper off the board, and the tie was an accurate end result.
