Widcats win first game -
The 2nd team got off to strong start in their season opener - particularly encouraging was the fact that six different skaters accounted for the goals scored in the first two periods. Mike Lima, Charles Baldwin, Tyler Bicknell, Sam Herrmann, Mike Maggiore and Max Affleck all scored, and Lima, Baldwin and Bicknell found the net again in the third period to lead KUA to a 9 - 1 victory. Charles Baldwin was the scoring leader with two goals and four assists, Tyler Bicknell had two goals and one assist and Sam Herrmann had one goal and two assists. The team is large this year but all 21 skaters saw significant ice time, and Patrick Salkind was strong in the goal.
