Whitney Frates '08 Named America East Field Hockey Rookief the Week
UNH freshman Whitney Frates '08 was named America East field hockey rookie of the week for the week ending October 12, 2008.
Frates extended her point-scoring streak to six games with a goal against Dartmouth and an assist on the game-winning goal at Maine. Her goal against Dartmouth helped the Wildcats erase a two-goal deficit and leveled the scored, 2-2 just 1:46 into the second half. Frates set up UNH's fourth goal of the game on Saturday, which came in the 47th minute and gave the 'Cats a two-goal advantage at Maine.
