The KUA alpine team traveled Wednesday to Pat’s Peak in Henniker, New Hampshire for the final stop in a 3-week championship series. Through snowy conditions and tons of fresh, loose snow in the course, the KUA team skied very well and walked away with a convincing victory over the competition for both men and women. The kids hung tough all season long, and put an exclamation point on the year by capturing 4 of 6 championship titles!! In the end, skiers Caysea Benner, Addie Herbert, Ethan Creeger, and Geoff Ballou stood on the podium as the top Wildcat finishers, supported by outstanding results from their teammates without whom the titles would have been unattainable.

What an exciting way to finish the season! We the coaches would like to thank and congratulate this fine group of young men and women for what we believe is the most successful season in the history of the alpine program. It has been a real pleasure, and we would like to once again bid a reluctant farewell to Cyrus Western, Brett Marshall and Guillermo Ungria, our three varsity seniors.
