Following the fall 2009 meeting of the Board of Trustees, Kimball Union Academy, announced a comprehensive fund-raising campaign with a $38 million goal.
To date, the school has received pledges and gifts of more than $37 million, 97% of the goal, during the nucleus and public phase of the campaign. The Academy seeks to raise the remaining $1 million during 2013 to honor the Academy's Bicentennial. During this time, any gift for any purpose to the Academy will be counted in the campaign total.
The school’s specific initiatives were identified through an extensive planning process beginning with the Academy’s strategic plan, Towards Our Third Century, which was approved in 2003, and a campaign study in 2005. The early successes of the IMPACT Campaign have led to significant improvements in all aspects of the Kimball Union experience.
