Kimball Union Plays for a Cure

October was Breast Cancer Awareness month, and smatterings of pink could be seen everywhere from the NFL to local road races. For the past 8 years, Kimball Union Academy has embraced the Play for a Cure event, which raises awareness for cancer prevention, education, and elimination.

This year, coinciding with Family Weekend, 9 different Kimball Union teams competed in special uniforms, and matching shirts were sold to aid this effort. The proceeds have continued to rise every year, and the totals are in…we are excited to donate over $1,300 to the Norris Cotton Cancer Center at nearby Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center.

Thank you to all who purchased a t-shirt, and for joining the fight against breast cancer.
