Reflections on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

 

Kimball Union students gathered on Monday to talk, listen, and reflect on the legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr. Divided into small discussion groups, students shared in open dialogue about stereotypes, and their immediate impact on us as a community. During All School Meeting, we were treated to an original piano composition created by senior, Harry Beaupre, in remembrance of his grandmother's first encounter with racial stereotyping.
