Dr. Liz Pasquini Featured Presenter at ISANNE Fall Heads' Conference

Dr. Liz Pasquini, Kimball Union's Director of Individualized Educational Services, will be the featured presenter at the ISANNE (Independent Schools Association of Northern New England) Heads' Conference in Meredith, NH on November 19-20. The theme of the conference is "Supporting Scattered Students: Responding to the Rise in Executive Skill Deficits." Dr. Pasquini will conduct two sessions: "Scattered Students: Is this really a new problem?" and "Calamity and Opportunity: Making the Most of this New Landscape."

Liz Pasquini has worked in the field of special education for over seven years. She began her career as an Educational Diagnostician at The Stern Center for Language and Learning, where she performed psycho-educational evaluations and consulted with both public and private schools on the development and implementation of IEPs and student support plans. Liz joined the staff at Kimball Union Academy in 2010, where she now serves as the Director of Individualized Educational Services. She also delivers professional development for teachers and administrators, both for KUA and for other schools and organizations.
 
Dr. Pasquini completed both her masters and her doctorate in Human Development and Psychology at  Harvard University, where she received a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship in support of her research on dyslexia and early language development. Liz also holds bachelor degrees in Physics and English from Dartmouth College and a special education license from the state of Vermont.  Liz has authored numerous academic papers and has designed educational products for Leapfrog and Gamewright.
